Just wondering, how many of you go to sing karaoke to meet the members of the opposite sex? Personally, I don't usually get approached by women in normal situation but had a few women flirt with me after I sing a couple of songs. I not particularly a good singer, I just go to my usual spot because my friend is a KJ and want to support him. However, I have gotten a few compliments and a couple of phone numbers because of my singing (go figures). What has been your experience in this area? Any hookups happened because of your singing? Spill it!

TRUE TO LIFE STORY!! This happend to me 2 weeks ago when I was doing my show.
A PLAYBOY model came in for karaoke party with some friends.(and yes I went and verified her photos on the internet and at her model agency website-and she gave me a couple of her autographed trading cards to boot). Anyway--first she opens up her shirt to show off to everyone. Im thinking...VERY NICE! Then later she and a GF were dancing then they come and make a dance sandwich out of me! Again Im thinking...NIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICE!!!. So they finished dancing and she comes around in front of me and RIPS MY SHIRT OPEN(the yellow shirt on my pic in the KS photo gallery) and ripped 2 buttons off it! So now she has my shirt open--then she blows a big RASPBERRY on my BELLY BUTTON(just like you do to a little kid to make them laugh)! Im thinking JEEZ............But shes not done! Then she unbuckles my belt! And start unzipping my pants!! At this point I said OOOOOOOOOOOO KKKKKKKKK thats enough..........so I got her to stop that and I buckled back up! But she STILL WASNT DONE.......she gives me a little peck on the cheek and then NIPS ME ON MY EARLOBE with her TEETH! Then she smiled an sauntered back to her seat!

This IS HONEST TO GOD TRUTH!  I MEAN WHO COULD MAKE THIS UP???

BUT I DO LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVVVVVVVVVVEEEEEEEEEE MY JOB!!!!!

"Women sense my power", General Jack Ripper: from the movie DR. Strangelove  LOL

I like dating singers.  One lady sang to me in a restaurant accompanied by a piano player.  She sang Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered.  What a great memory that is.

I think women like a man that can sing.  I'm ugly, fat AND Married, and I still get hit on all the time!

If they are short with  sparkling eyes & with big butt and heart they don't have to sing good or even dance good, when I'm trying to attract them I sing like a canary..... Any genre any language And as long as the whole bar is having fun that is what it is all about... I'll sing just for a smile!!!!!

Hey, that's the whole reason I got into karaoke in the first place.

I'm actually too sexy to be a Karaoke singer.  I'm a professional singer who just happens to be down on his luck.  I need to meet some beautiful woman who can give me strength to make it to the top.  Her first task is to get me to stop smoking.

Hmm, interesting comments. I guess only men use singing to attract the opposite sex? Where are the women's perspective on this? Not one posting from the fairer sex.
