Musicians friend has Nady UHF-4/HT UHF Handheld Wireless System for $99 we have had some drunks at our one show I bought 2 of these to switch out with the shure's for that bar. I have them this monday I post how they are. I bought a similar model at Guitar Center over the summer for $70 and they have held up with no problems. I don't feel comfotable letting another KJ in charge of keeping an eye on my $500 mics. If these work I out I'll buy 3 or 4 more. I post back when we Test them next tuesday night. |

I have a Nady URR-10 and love it! I'm looking for a rack mountable solution though. Are those 1/2 space rackable in pairs? I'd prefer a solution that doesn't require a shelf if at all possible. |

I recently went all wireless and added the RSQ dual UHF unit. I really like it - it was about $225 from acekaraoke.com. Singers have been very complimentary about it. It comes with a rack mount kit and takes up one space. The antenna on the receiver are front-mounted, which was also a consideration for me. |

They work well with no interferance but the sound quality is a little below avarage as far as I am concerned. I'm going to try running them though a 15 band eq to get them to sound a bit better. I figure I can use a dual 15 band 1 for each mic, a dual 31 band is too much if the 15 doesn't work I'll dump them on ebay. |

At $100 a pop, I'll stick with the Nady's. I can buy 5 of them for the price of your precious Shure, and not have to worry about them... |

Ditto! And my Nady's have been up and running now, going for 2 1/2 years and still going strong. I also have one Nady VHF, which is not as hot, very prone to interferance. |

It's the cost one has to deal with I'll stick with Shures the sound quality is there but I will keep a nady in with each system for VIP'S (Visiably Intoxicated People). I rather have to replace a microphone once a year than have sub-par sound. Actually I can get sennheiser G2 replacement microphones cheaper than shure so I will probally use them instead. |

My dear lyquiddye, now that statement makes you sound like BeachHeadBum. An incredible obnoxious a$$hole! Take note, I am not saying you are one, but youy saying that using Nady’s creates sub-par sound is a slap in the face of everyone else using those microphones. hitwtom, karaokemeister, MrOctober and myself are clearly happy with our Nady’s, so please let us be without insulting us by making statements like the above. We know what we have and are proud of our sound. Before you even start with the following, I know, I know, it’s freedom of speech, but freedom of speech does not include insulting other people. |

I've been using the Nady Gold series 441 wireless Guitar setup (VHF 4 channel) for around 4 years pretty regularly (around a pretty high interference area, as well as in crowded bars with all sorts of potential sources for interference). No problems. I've seen reviews with people complaining that it's not "true diversity", thing is, While I've seen true diversity making more of a difference with Shure's wireless guitar setups, this less costly Nady unit still is quite "directional" with just the one antenna... So basically I'm agreeing, even though Nady always did poorer on the older wireless guitarists head-to-head "shoot-outs", I'm quite happy with Nady. My system was less expensive than the comparable Shure units were at the time, and from my own experiences using Samson, Shure, and Nady (similarly priced wireless setups), Nady makes decent stuff, everybit as good as even the slightly costlier units that are better "rated" brands (and whoever actually rates these, I've yet to really know). Now if I could find a wireless setup that didn't eat batteries so fast, I'd be much happier LOL. Why reviews *I* read seemed so biased against Nady's wireless systems, I never understood.. Maybe these were founded reviews, maybe funded; I just don't know. So I'm agreeing with the others here, in feeling that EVEN my older VHF Nady system is decent for my own purposes, and did as well as comparably priced VHF brand wireless systems even in the true diversity area. I haven't tried a UHF system yet, so I don't know how these differ. |

I had a wonderful compliment from a singer in a jazz band. "Good Mic!" While he was singing a song! Right in the middle of it! ! He came up later, introduced himself and said the following: "I normally consider karaoke the bane of all live music experiences... but your sound tonight is just ****ing excellent." I thanked him and he asked what kind of mics I had and speakers. The look on his face was priceless when he realized that he wasn't singing on ultra expensive mics or speakers. I use the AS-990s... However I don't know if there's a control issue (customs) with these or not... right after they were introduced in the market, they were yanked. They are MILES above the AS-890s, which I still use at private functions. I replaced them with the 990s in my club environment, and i'm so happy I did! I'm still gonna have to tape the switches open though! ! People love to fart around with those! |
