Hi all,,,just curious...sometimes when I click on my name it shows that I have 1 or 2 more comments than I can see...and shows like 1 or 2 that I haven't responded to ,,but they aren't there (LOL)    

SOOOO,,,if I ever miss commenting to someone,,,please know,,that It's just that I can't see it

Hi Linda! I have had that happen to me too a couple of times. It is really frustrating because I keep trying to find the comments that the site says I have and the one or two that it shows will be missing.  This does not happen all the time, just every now and then. I thought maybe I was the only one with this problem! Glad to know I am not alone! --Mike

This happens occassionally.

The reason is __________.

Heck I don't really know. I can make an educated 'guestimation'

I believe that is people that either:

1) have logged in and have stayed online for hours then the "cookie" has expired.

or

2) logged on incorrectly.

But again I am uncertain.

Daily I go through and delete the unknown comments. Sorry but I have no way of knowing who said what.

I've had it happen that I've become an invisible commenter if I click on listen and then don't comment until 10 or 15 min later or so because I've gotten interrupted. Now I've learned to hit REFRESH on that page before I comment.

I've had that happen before too. Then I go combing through the list real careful (with a great big L on my forehead)........ cause you'd feel awful if you left one person unanswered.

Just one of those little things. BUT....... I do also notice that those phantom numbers dissapear....... so I think Phil must be on it.  :worship:

Yeah, guess Phil must have done something,,,now it shows the right number and the 1 unanswered has disappeared.....least I know it's not just me now

I've had this to happen on a couple of occasions but apparently Phil is
keeping an eye on it because usually the next day the ghost comment is gone.
