Hello all. It's good to be back. Nice to see some familiar names still popping up on the over 6,000 new posts since I was last here....

I will be going to Orlando (disney area) the weekend after Labor Day. Since I have not done a show in almost a year, and hardly et out much anymore at home, we are DYING to do karaoke while up there.

Does anyone know of any GOOD shows in the 192 & I4 area for Friday or Saturday night? We have gone as far as Winter Haven before to see someone from this site-- Lito if you're out there say hello and let me know where you play!

All apologies... I responded to this post after it appeared, and returned today to see if there was any other traffic following it, and it appears my response is not here.  I had suggested a show, and supplied a link.

Hope you had a great visit.  Fill us in on what you found in o-town.

I had the same thing happen to me, I was travelling in the US and posted a similar request as dbk1009.  Apparently KS.net has a policy to not post links to shows (even provided by individuals).  They has a listing service that venues pay to be included on and I guess they have had others who have abused the privilege of posting (trying to cheat and get free advertising).  I would suggest sending a private message to dbk instead.

By the way love the handle (for obvious reasons...see below LOL )

We ended up going to the dueling piano place in Disney's Boardwalk. It was OK, but not the same as karaoke...

Harry, I know you are in the O-town area, do you know if Lito is still in the biz? He used to have a few shows at Oshucks on I drive, but that was a while ago....

Just come back from Orlando..... and I take my discs everywhere with me.  I sang at
BLACK ANGUS (Steakhouse) on International Drive (right at the top by Wet n Wild), they have karaoke there everynight from 9pm.  Also there are a couple in Kissimee which were pretty fun, an English type Pub and an Irish bar.  I was in Orlando from Sept 20 to Oct 4 and sang about 9 times.  It is quiet season, so I got to sing loads.
