Each year “People 4 Children,” a California Non-Profit organization, holds our annual benefit fundraiser in memory of 8 year old Christopher Actkinson-Pommerenck, and the many other young lives lost to cancer. Funds raised and toys collected will be donated to the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles – CHLA for Leukemia Research.

You can make a difference!!  How can you help??

1. - DONATE MONEY FOR RESEARCH
Our goal is simple! Too many children are plagued with this deadly disease.  Too many suffer through years of horrible medical treatments and long hospital stays.  We need to find a cure! To do this, there MUST be funds for research, and together we can help keep the research going strong!  Please make a financial contribution today to support these children and their families. Your contribution is tax deductible (as allowed by law). These children depend on each of us to be committed to finding a cure. We must fight for THEM! Please join us! Please make checks payable to: CHLA. A letter of receipt will be mailed for tax purposes.

2. - HELP US FILL A TRUCK WITH TOYS
The children affected are often scared and sometimes things may seem hopeless. We want to bring a smile to their face, joy to their hearts, but most importantly…..hope and love!  We collect toys, books, games, videos …anything that will bring happiness to a child and make their day a bit brighter considering the circumstances. We deliver these items personally each and every year. Won’t you join us as we fill a truck with toys for these beautiful children! Not only will you be giving a toy, but you will be giving hope and love to a child. Thank you in advance for your support and donations.

3. - DONATE ITEMS FOR THE AUCTION
Any item of any value is greatly appreciated.  The items help us to raise additional monies on the day of the event.  We offer auctions, opportunity drawings and door prizes.  All contributions (small and large) will be acknowledged the evening of the event.

4. - ATTEND THE BENEFIT/FUNDRAISER Saturday, November 19, 2005 – 1pm-1am
We wrap up our toy drive and fundraising efforts with a benefit each year with food, prizes, games, KARAOKE, and fun!  This event has a huge turn out each year.  Don’t miss the fun and come and join us as we come together for a common cause.  Your participation and support will enable “People 4 Children” to continue our efforts to help these children.  The benefit will be held at:

5. - SPREAD THE WORD AND ENCOURAGE OTHERS TO GIVE AND PARTICIPATE!
