I think we should have "oldies" for next week or whenever Phil changes the genre.  Here is the poll for the week after that.

Might I recommend that when we hit 52 weeks (or some other point) we start over making all categories available again?  That would really open up some alternatives in just over a month.

It's just a thought....

I agree.. especially since there are new members all the time that didn't get to participate in the weeks before they were here to do so

Hey!  What happened to the elementals?  I have 2 or 3 songs picked out about fire and rain and stuff, .  I voted for it a couple times and I thought wed eventually get around to it...

Ohhhhhhhhhh, I can go crazy here!!!  We've got Train Songs, we've got Rain Songs, we've got "Parent Songs", we've got Come On Songs etc etc etc.  My brain can cook up dozens of em !!

I"m so confused ... what's the difference between last week's "Oldies" theme and all these choices in the poll?

just curious.. anyways.............. off I go to dig up some 60s songs.................

60's is for NEXT week...oldies was only a partial week so it will be oldies this week, too.  Unless Phil changes it again

Oldies is a general category that can mean anything you want (any song before now).
Whereas 60's is a specific decade.

The person who was doing the polls before Ed had declared that we were going to do the decades-poll once a month, so I was just trying to keep that going.  We had already voted for the other decades so this was all that was left.

We can start over if you want, Ed, but there are still plenty of categories left.

For the person who asked about elementals, it was on one of the polls a few weeks ago.  The poll is not always the same That would be boring.

It was just an idea.  I used to set password changes to be remembered for the last 14 so people couldn't use a month as part of the password which they could if I set it for 12 or less.

I was just thinking that after a period of time we allow previous options be allowed to 'rejoin' the poll.  52 weeks in a year but perhaps a little longer if you still have lots of options.  It was just that some of the early 'themes' would be nice to add back into the mix....  or perhaps allowing a theme to rejoin the polls after 52 weeks?  Just a thought.... Now I'm back to work on the F&F 'project'...

I did the change... Did anyone notice this yesterday?
