I had a guy come in a sing in German last night.
If I can track down German metal / Death Metal Karaoke he will frequent karaoke every week. Does anyone know where I can purchase cd+g's in German?
DVD's do not work in different countries are cd+g's the same way?

He may have been singing "Du Haust" by Rammstein. I've heard this track in German quite a few times, and the german language version is actually made by one of the domestic CD-G manufacturers. I'll see if I can't find the disc for you!!

Acekaraoke.com was my first thought as well - they have a pretty extensive international offering. I purchased two German CDGs of more traditional songs from them a couple of years ago that have gotten some use - didn't see them still listed, but wow, they seem to have expanded the German library it quite a bit.

If you know very much German at all the lyrics in English early in the song are repeated in German later. If you learn the German lyrics you can replace the Englich ones easy enough. I've done this on occasion and it's a lot of fun. You usually get a couple strange looks because you're not singing what they see...
