Fellow RPM, classy singer Buster, sang this one recently, man did he ever sing it! Anyway, we have fun singing each other's songs. Actually, let me get this right. We don't own any songs but let's just pretend (hahaha). If you are new to RPM, we formed a Rat Pack (you remember them: Dean, Frank, Sammy, and sometimes Nat and other singers) and we stamp our songs with RPS to tell you it is one of their songs. The Rat Pack idea was first mentioned to me by Hess, so he gets the credit. In no way, however, do we compete ... we share ... we reinforce ... but we never compete (Buster needs to go flat once in a while, he's way too good ...Dad, can you somehow fire him?! And Born is getting too good for his own good. And Peter never sounded as good to my ear. All 3 are not italian, bust 'em, Dad! ... LOL

... but, seriously, I hope you enjoy the song and your visit here is never taken for granted. Hugs. (I'm Italian, I hug) ... sorry, song title forced me to abbreviate Wrld, so many bytes are allowed in a text string ... oh, well. TL

The last few days I've noticed subs on the SS with (RPS) after them. What exactly does this mean? If someone could help out this former blonde, it would really be great... 'cause I'm confused about a lot of things as it is. One less thing would be cool

Good thing I didn't see it after one of my songs.... I would have probably thought it meant "Really Poor Singing"....... and then I would have left for good with my head hung in shame. Glad you 2 clarified that. :rotflmao:

Well I hate to add to your confusion ladies, but some of them say "RPM" as well, I'll have to research this....... :)

I don't think there's any confusion really... RPS is revs per second RPM is revs per minute It just diff wayz of expressiing how fast they sing.... see, no problem.....

Okay so why are people placing RPS after the song title? It is not the doing of the script? Nevermind, did a search and I see that RPS does stand for Rat Pack Songs! geez... So here's my question - is "RPS" only for the "RPM" or is it a communal thing? btw - I thought it stood for "Recorded in a Professional Studio." Go figure.

hurrrrrrrrrrrryyy I can answer this being a rat pack member haha RPM is rat pack member RPS is rat pack song .......meaning a song by either Frank Sinatra ,Sammy Davis , Dean Martin . Hessemoto thought it would be a good and fun idea the form a new rat pack and with Tony learner I was invited to be a member and its been great fun doing these song in a whole new way, so if you've got a spare minuite or two go listen to some I was quickest off the mark and subbed luck be a lady then Anything goes in both I bring in the other members into the song. And its been such fun others are now joining in the theme I think a womans section is now starting see Rita and Luly subs Paul .......RPM

And Deb...if you did happen to catch my RPFM sub, "Makin' Whoopee", just to confuse you further (hehehe)...the RPFM meant Rat Pack Female Member.
