Hello,
Anyone had any experience with the new RSQ Revolution?  I'm looking for a little all-in-one portable unit to use at home.  I believe the Revolution replaced the discontinued RSQ 70.   http://www.dtskaraoke.com/rsqrecddvvcc.html
Thanks!

Don't know that I would spend that much money on a portable unit. For $370 you could get a much better deal that this item.

It depends on where you would like to have karaoke at in you home and wht you are really willing to spend.

Most everyone here will agree it is a very bad idea to sing out of your home stereo.

You can get a smaller fender P-80 Passort portable Pa for $320 and an inexpensive Karaoke player for $100 that's $420 and you will have a very nice home karaoke system. You could also shop local music stores for smaller inexpensive pa systems. Many DVD players play karaoke and do not list that they are cd+g capable. I listed a Daewoo model in another thread I picked up as back-up for $60 at target. If you show around you will be albe to get more for your money than this all in one system that is not very good.

So what you are saying is don't buy a piece of garbage all in one so you can go out and buy a mini pa system and a PIECIE OF GARBGAGE player?

I have been happy with the RSQ players. I don't have a all in one player any more... first player Singing Machine....

A single tray RSQ runs around 250.00 with the P80 puts you around 550.00

greg,

for HOME use, the site sponsor acekaraoke.com has a fairly good combo player for $139... there are smaller amp/mixers there too!

it won't be the same as a unit that you and I would be proud to use in a club, but that's not what they're LOOKING for m'man!

what's better and ok player that does the job and good sound or a decent player and bad sound?

I don't think the vocopro player for $100 is that bad of a player.

I simply said I think there are better options to explore if one was going to spend appox $400 on an all in one unit.
