Karaoke Forums

    Hello!
I'm another newbie just finding some time to try out the forums and go by the name the ZAPPER or ZAP for short.

I'm 50 and currently a 5th grade teacher in an elementary school with not too many years left until I can retire.  I've also sung in a variety band in high school and college doing mainly wedding receptions and adult dances, many choirs in school and church, and DJed on the radio both in college and later on several commercial radio stations part time.  I currently DJ parties, reunions, wedding receptions, and dances occasionally.

I have 2 teenage children, a daughter who plays keyboards and who sings in two school choirs and at church, and a son who has his own rock band, plays bass guitar, trumpet, and sings, and his band has written about a half dozen of their own songs, recorded and mixed them themselves on the computer and produced a CD.  Both also DJ at times.  My wife sings with me at church also.

My karaoke experience is mainly at home or right before DJing testing out the equipment with a just few experiences in clubs that have karoake.

This seems like a great site with a lot of wonderful people which I hope to visit as often as time permits.
