Hi everyone, just joined the group here for the first time. I need some help with some gear that I received. I have the following gear in rack form.
Controller - CDK 3300C
Edit-A-Vision (digital picture) - CD Graphics Decoder CDG-333
Stereo Mixxing Amp - CDK 3300AI (Digital)
Audio Disc Loader - CDK 3300PII
(DO NOT HAVE A MONITOR)
Also in the rack is a mixing board, VHS tape player, Cassette deck, mics and some other gear.
Here are my questions:
1. The previous owner could not find the original monitor, what can I use for this? The input jack looks like it would need to be a 5 prong / 4 prong conector to the Disc Loader.
2. Are there any manuals around for this equipment? Who would I need to talk to?
Here is what happened when I turned on the equipment.
I had placed the CD's in the loader, released the lock on the player inside the Loader. Set up the controller to play a disc and a track. The changer picked out the disc, looked like it was going to play, disc unit ren for a few seconds then removed the disc, and set it back into the disc rack.
Is this because I needed to have the monitor hooked up?
3. If I can't find a monitor for this system, is there an adapter that I can use, or is there a wiring diagram that shows how to re-wire the end of a new monitor or the connection in the Loader unit so I can get a monitor to work with this system?
Is Sony the only way to go?
Thanks for any help in advance. I stumped. :banghead:

I hope you didn't pay much for your purchase.
I searched for info and could not find anything. What I do know is that the equipment you purchased is from the Sony Pro Line of karaoke equipment gennerally used in Japan for personally karaoke in commercial settings.
The parts are next to impossible to find and you would be much better off having equipment that is standard in the US

Thanks for some insite. I actually received this gear for free. The previous owner of the equipment used it in a few resturant/bars he owned.
I bet if I could see a wiring diagram for the Loader I could re-wire for a new monitor. I wish I could see a manual somewhere.
I'll try to talk to Sony asn see what pops up.
If anyone has any other information I would apreciate it.
All of the gear looks in good shape. I have stage speakers, can lights and two controllers to boot!
I have a music studio so this gear is extra to me.
Thanks for all of the help.
