Dear fellow Karaokers... [Is that a real expression?] Anyways... I'm looking for suggestions to buy some CDG's that have a good selection of 50's and 60's hits, so I can expand the library.

 Thanks,

Sound Choice & <shutter to think i'm saying this> Music Maestro actually have the better (and most) 50's & 60's discs over anyone else.

Actually the Music Maestro Oldies Club Packs are decent .
MM offers one of the bigger selection on "oldies" 50/doowop type selections
You won't be dissappointed. not the very best out there but very good quality (for oldies) .

Pioneer are as well if you can find them in laser. cdg or dvd.

but know that for future releases, they as well as Music Maestro are no longer making discs. SC is the only viable source now for oldies that are continued to be released!

Not quite Matt!  UK sources always get forgotten!

Zoom and Singtotheworld also produce a lot of older stuff.  Zoom is stocked by a few American retailers, and the shipping rate direct from STTW is very reasonable!

actually I wasn't discounting sttw at all... but I've also been keeping track of their releases. Yes, there are a few oldies... but it did seem to me that they were releasing a lot of mostly newer hits lately...

 you guys decide.

And though I'll likely never buy any other discs from them because of the lousy quality, The Singing Machine Motown Original Artist series is pretty good.  IIRC it's 6 discs of motown hits.

						 I thought you wanted oldies.....Try PS1124 & PS1125  LMAO

WE were in the Fort 21 one sat night and one of the regulars brought her mother in. She was in a wheel chair and 80+ I happened to have 1125 with and 2 or 3 of us oldtimers started singin the oldies.  Her mom came up to the stage in her chair and laughed smiled and wept for a couple of hours.. It was one of those nights that totally changed everybody involved and their thinking forever.

						 Actually, the Singing Machine's MOTOWN Series is 12 CDGs, not 6... It's 8851 - 8862.
