This is the only program I know of that is designed for the Mac & it's still in a beta test stage as it has some major issues from what i've heard.

There are two programs I have found on Macs and neither of them are ready to go. One is ktunes as Lonman has mentioned. Other one is iStar. Both of them has the look and feel of iTunes but neither worked well.

As far as I can tell, both are in late alpha/early beta stage with many of the features still to be worked out. Both will let you try it without paying first but limited on number of songs you can rip or play. From both, ktunes seems to be further along, they have both rip/burn capability as well as singer rotation capability, which is lacking on iStar. Both has access to the free database so it recognize the CD-G you insert in to the drive. You will need a CD-G write capable CD-ROM drive for you to write the CD-G disks. I have a Yamaha CRW-F1UX and it works well with both Mac and PC. One thing about that Yamaha is it has the capability to use laser to put down a graphics on the flipside of the CD. However, the availability and cost of the media sucks. It's only available from Yamaha site and cost about $1 per disk. Also, the software does not support Macs.

At this moment, I am going with WindowsXP machine for the purpose. It seems to have better software available. I may switch to Mac later when the software support is better.
