Karaoke Forums

I have heard of a site on the internet that you can download lots of karaoke songs for a one time fee of like $30 or something.The songs are downloaded to the site by people with karaoke disc. Then you can download from them. Has anyone used this service or heard of anything of the sort? Thank you so much for your time,

Sounds pretty shady to me.  ONE time fee?  Hmmm.  Even LEGAL download sites are on a pay-per-song basis.

sounds like he's talking about the MIRC rooms...

there are some shady idiots out there selling information on how to get to a free room... the trouble is, you just can't go to one of these rooms... in order to participate, you have to have a cdrom that will read the subcode of the karaoke discs (or I've heard Alcohol does it on standard burners)... and you MUST have at least five karaoke cdgs that you are willing to rip and share. The members of these sites still contribute to the karaoke manufacturers... or they're supposed to.

But if you don't have the equipment necessary, in order to become voiced, you HAVE to get it! doesn't sound like $30 to me!
