Winamp Plugin Setup

Whether using Winamp as a stand alone karaoke player or using it in conjunction with Roxbox or Sax N Dotty, the following is a good setup. I hesitated for awhile to try the Dfx 7 as I use 2 different efx and a Bbe 362 and an Aphex 104. But it added to the overall quality and I was pleasantly surprised.

Download the latest Winamp or 5.09 and install the cdg plugin for dual screens.  If you use a cd rom player also install the cdg disc player  plugin. The next next standard plugin is the Pacemaker for key control.

A good limiter and compressor is the Sqr Soft limiter . It helps to keep music levels constant and those familiar with compressors can adjust it for optimum performance. Also install the Dfx 7 efx plugin. To "stack" or run all these plugins, download and install MuchFx2 and add the pacemaker, limiter and dfx 7 plugin to it.
