Let's make it new songs for this week (since you would have voted for it) and southern rock next week. Or we can do it in alphabetical order - er, that would be the same way! Or we can do it based on what I voted for, but I didn't vote for either of them.... As long as there are no problems (I'll listen to complaints) I plan on doing new songs - these are songs that you have just tried within the last two weeks. If you ever sang it before then it doesn't count. Nothing you're bringing out of retirement or the like. This is your chance to try something new! We'll do Southern Rock for next week.... Phil can you make the changes? |

I really don't remember any girl southern rockers. There may have been some...I just don't remember. When I think of Southern Rock I think of Lynyrd Skynyrd, Freebirds, Allman Brothers Band and Marshall Tucker Band. Some people consider the Dixie Chics as Southern Rock but I don't think their music sounds like these guys. This may be one of those weeks we girls have to do some gender bending! LOL |

Well, I guess it is up to our own interpretation, then...I would definitely consider Dixie Chicks Southern Rock....they rock on a lot of their songs and they are Southern, so....??? |
