I thought of some other themes: -Your best songs ever -your worst songs ever -the longest songs you know -recordings from a long time ago (this will vary since some people only recent started but it will be fun to see "old" recordings) -Songs that you really love but they are "works in progress" (meaning you want to keep working on them or you feel they are inadequate) OR you most ambitious/toughest songs -songs you didn't know last month (you just learned it and recorded it) This is what I started thinking about when I woke up at 6:15 and couldn't get back to sleep |

I didn't realize Rush and Paul Anka were Canadian. Interesting. I also always assumed Gordon Lightfoot was a US native. |

Finally :hi5: - there are many Canadian Artists to choose from. Here are some more - David Wilcox, Burton Cummings, The Guess Who, Niel Young, Hank Snow, Ian Tyson, The Stampeders, April Wine, Chilliwack, Trooper, Doug and the Slugs, Powder Blues, Downchild Blues Band, Colin James, Dan Hill, Valdi, Tragically Hip, Blue Rodeo, Kim Mitchell, The Rankin Family, Great Big Sea - I will add more as I think of them. The best sources of Canadian Karaoke are companies called Singking, Gamesman, Karaokemaker. I think that there is enough material to create a category for Canadian Music on the song listings. Just as there should be a UK listing. Just some thoughts... |
