I'm sorry if I don't always reply or comment but I can't put up with the time it takes once you click submit after you write the comment or reply, something has to be done! Wouldn't be surprised to know that this is the reason we have less people making comments on our subs

Micky: I'm happy to know that it's not just my computer, like on the other si.. . It's playing the songs very nicely on 98% of the time but all the other functions are working very slow. I also noticed a sharp decrease in comments but to me the actual views is more important even tho' not as close to our hearts than the comments. I have noticed many new and atractive features. Maybe that has something to do with the problem??????? |

THANK YOU!! THIS IS RIDICULOUSLY SLOW!! I've hardly commented on ANYTHING lately cuz it takes so fricken long.... and it's not just in the showcase... it's EVERYTHING.... making posts... checking PM's even just browsing the forum is taking forever and a dog's age! dunno 'bout you guys... but I'm frusterated!!

I kept emptying my cache. Even rebooted a few times. Ran a virus scan, Spy-ware program, and came quite close to punching out my laptop.... I wish people mentioned this a few days back. It's been horrible. I did mention that a few of my comments didn't post at all (around mid-week). Comments sent never posted, and become comments erased into thin-air. I've been receiving quite a few error messages the past two days in particular; white screen "site not available" messages as well. What we have here, is a failure to communicate |

Houston we DO have a problem!!! :( I have just been listening to subs mostly because I don't have 10 minutes to wait for the screen to return once I do comment... Short attention span I guess...

yes thats one reson i found another site to go to, this site is veryyyyyyyyy slow, 1 comment takes me almost a full min. once its typed till i get back, and thennnnnn it takes u back to that persons page not the main page, i would sub and comment more if the site was faster....jmo |

Have to admit I'm in the same boat. I check my subs often for comments, since I like to reply promptly.. but I literally have to walk by my computer, hit refresh, then walk away and do something else for a while while it loads. I've had people point me towards other sites, and I've even signed up on those sites, but I like the interface and the layout here, and this is where I'd like to stay - if the loading time issues can be resolved, that is... I put up with the loading times cause this site just blows the others out of the water. 
I've been to the 'other' sites & even thought about 'crashing a few parties'... (some of you will know what i'm talking about), but nah, I'm not that bored yet. 
Still, the loading problems ARE annoying. I'm guessing part of it has to do with the site possibly being under attack... not necessarily by a 'hacker' (although that's possible), but by the flood of aggressive worms & virii circulating online these days. Anyway, if you folks are bored, go listen to our version of My Sharona...  ol  That will brighten your day!! (its under jvj's account)

I'm sure glad to hear everyone is having the same problem. I had switched to DSL a couple of months ago and at first the site was loading just fine. Now all of a sudden it is so slow and sometimes I'm getting error messages after I comment but when I go back the comment is there. I thought something was wrong with my computer but noticed the other sites were loading up fast. Maybe they will fix it because it is sure getting annoying! |

Currently we are investigating why this is occuring for some members and not others. I will attempt to resolve this situation as soon as we can determine what exactly is causing these delays. I understand your frustrations & I apologize for this inconvenience. Thank you Phill |

Ditto here. I haven't been on here in about a month- came back yesterday & (to quote Gilly) I was like "Wha..."? This is so slow it's annoying. I finally gave up even trying to listen last night, and then I felt rude for listening to so few songs. The difference in how it used to be is drastic. (okay, now I'm sounding like a drama queen, so I'll go) Would be nice if it was back up to speed though. |

I always multi-task anyway, so it hasn't bothered me too much. Also ,I find it's helpful if you have two browser windows open. That way, while one is recording your comments, you can go to the other window and listen to the next song. Makes it faster that way. I agree, it's irritating! Hopefully Phil and crew can fix it... |
