Tonight I wrote a critique for an individual over in Singers Showcase, I clicked the submit button as always. It appeared to "send" as usual; When the page refreshed nothing had posted, and nothing was in my comment box. all was erased. Following that, I wrote another person a critique. Same thing. Hit submit button, text gone from comment box, nothing had posted. Two nights ago,I went to say hello to Auctionmusic. Submitted comment to him and got an error message, I closed grey error box and submitted comment again. Once again I got an error message... Tried this process several times. Since the error message stated the action wasn't successful, I finally copied my comment to auction music to repost it after closing out of KS, and than reentering. I closed out've KS, reentered only to find he received 7 duplicate messages from me on his one song.

Eeek!!
Sounds like perhaps your page isn't refreshing properly after you post?
Yep, that's an annoying problem!
(hi Steve... where ya been?)

Hi Seby,
Work has been busy. I haven't had as much free time due to real life constraints. I was almost always multitasking while in here anyway. Running between two or more extraneous projects on the work system, phone etc.
I doubt my refresh is the problem. I don't have the problem elsewhere. The content I'm submitting is written in a SS comment box, and I than push a singers showcase "submit" button. I'm just sending content, and Intermittently content just doesn't seem to want to send for some reason on SS. Yet I'm not sure technically which end the problem is on. Signing into KF also usually takes me at least 5 attempts. Yet that is a lesser prob IMHO.

I haven't had that specific problem you mention, Steve, but I know the site has been very slow at times when I click on a link. Sometimes it even says "page not found" until I refresh. That's probably a server problem and not you or me. Maybe you caught it during a particularly bad time.
I wonder if there's anyone here who DOESN'T multi-task while they're listening to songs??

Suzanne, You are correct. There is a server problem. The "Page not found" white screen is a VERY frequent occurrance. Signing in has been particularly tough. I'll be trying to sign in, and I keep getting the refresh clicking while trying to type my User name & PW in the allocated area. When I finally do enter my info on the sign in screen, It usually rejects my correct User name, and PW several times before I am able to get on the site.

Can I please get an actual description of the events.
I cannot locate any problems with the script.
I need to pin point the problem before I can resolve it.
Thank you,
Phill

One of the biggest problems I have had is when I submit a comment.....
is taking forever for the comment to load and 75% of the time I get a "page not found" error message. But when I go back to the person's profile my comment is
there. All of the pages seem to be loading really slow here the past few days. There has been a couple of times that I've clicked on my favorites (where I have this site) and it will also give me a "page not found". I try again and it will come up but is taking a long time to load. I feel like this is the site because I'm not having the same problem with other sites.
Hope this helps.
Rita

4-26, I wrote a critique for Electrophoretic's song "Linger",I pressed the send button.
Refresh time was about normal. There wasn't the delay this time others speak of.
When the site refreshed NOTHING had posted. There was no evidence or trace of the critique I wrote in my comment box either.
That's as specific as I can get.
Regarding the greybox "error messages" I got prior to signing out've the site, that resulted in 6 comments on Auctionmusics one song "Can't find my way home". I didn't pay attention to the content of those error messages.

Hi There Steven, just saw this thread and all I can say is "hey, that's one way to get over 20 comments on a song hahaha..I mentioned that for a second there I thought a herd of groupies waz camped outside me door.
As for leaving a comment, I open up a text box with notepad, type my comment in there, then cut/paste. The littlytinyittybitty edito box this site provides is almost laughable. Anyway, if something goes wrong, then I have the text saved anyway....
