I've had an idea for a project for a while now, but I'm not sure how to go about it (and don't have the time right now myself), but I thought I would throw it out there for consideration.

I would like to see a broadway musical chosen, then have different folks here do all the parts in the musical... so it would be sort of like the 'soundtrack' to a musical. I know there are quite a few folks here skilled enough to pull it off, and it would be fun to hear. :)

We could have a poll to see which musical to do (maybe even do others later), then either assign parts to people, or switch off on parts for different songs.

Anyway, maybe it's dumb, but I think it would be cool. :)

I'd give anything to sing Eponine's part in Les Mis. :)

Sounds like a good idea to me!  Which musical? It would need to be one we know and have the backing tracks for.  These are the ones I have, off the top of my head:
Guys and Dolls, Sound of Music, Evita, Phantom of the Opera, Les Miz, Music Man, Oklahoma, Rocky Horror, The King and I, some songs from A Chorus Line and Dreamgirls...I may have more, not sure.
