Hi Ladies:

You are a sensitive female singer with a golden angelic voice. You're in your 30s or 40s and have been a karaoke fan for awhile. You love the partytime atmosphere and the rush it gives you to entertain people even though it's just for fun.

But there's only one problem. You're tired of being told how good you are and that you sound like a pro. And so obviously you wanna take the next step up.

This is your chance. I'm a lyricist with some tunes under my belt who has finally hooked up with some brilliant composer/arrangers who have inspired me and thus catapulted me on my way to writing some material with serious potential.

My latest project is a memorial tribute song dedicated to the late Terri Schiavo. And my songwriter collaborator's instrumental hook for my bridge is so hauntingly beautiful, that it sounds timeless.

I've scouted the web for a singer but it seems that I can't find anyone mature enough these days to cover my songbook. So I thought I'd come here to meet a wider crosssection of open-minded talents.

My style is new age folk. The kind of songs Bob Dylan was writing 40 years ago that we desperately need today. Protest songs, message music. Call it what you will. I wanna write songs to change the world. I just need a songbird to sing 'em.

The right singer has to be in tune with Elton John's addage that "sad songs say so much" and be able to vocally sell that mentality in a recording studio with every fiber of her heart, mind, soul and spirit.

With pipes that transcend your average karaoke talent, said prospect has to be able to deal with lyrics that may be construed as either downbeat, esoteric or philosophical, with socially conscious themes and/or political subject matter.

In short, she must be the non-judgmental audio/vocal messenger to my poet/prophet muse.

If you feel that you fit this description, send me a brief message with some info about yourself. Then either give me a link or send me a sample of your voice in an mp3 file.

If I like what I hear and you're a local who resides in the Greater SoCal area, I'll get back to you and we'll set something up.

Good luck,

LALyricist
