It would be nice to know who are Early Birds or Late Night Owl's on SS ! I put myself in the Late Night Owl Group. I am up late listening to subs and then I go and sing in a Paltalk room for a spell, and get to bed about 3am.
I know some people can't stay up that long, they seem to start to fall asleep in their chair watching TV at 11pm and then they are off to bed and asleep in no time. For me I seem to come alive late evening just when everyone is getting tried. In fact my brain even works better late at night.
Of course if we have work in the morning or other chores, then its to bed more early, but whenever I can I am a Night Owl !
Oh by the way, they say by your Horoscope that if you were born in the morning or daytime you are an Early Bird and late at night a Night Owl. I was born just after midnight, so that makes me a Night Owl !
How about you !!!!
Cheers, Peter

well... If I'm not workin... I'm a "whenever I get time" kinda member, but most of the time I'm up reeeeally late on here..... usually 2am....3am...4am...
Like you, Peter... I'm MUCH more alert at night.... I do my best thinking, writing at night... I think I'm wittier at night too! haha!! In the morning.... nuthin's funny to me, and I don't usually feel like BEING funny either.... but at night... I morph into a loon!

My schedule changes constantly, but I am generally a night owl. What changes it is that I go to the park in the mornings with my dog (we walk) and my husband (he runs). So I either have to sleep in shifts, get up early, or stay up all night. My ideal time is to be up until around 3 am and wake up around noon. I like to have about 9 hours sleep.
I don't go on SS every day, but when I do, it's usually at night. But I don't like subbing them at that time any more because I think more people listen to them during the day.
I don't know what time of day I was born...

For some reason, I've always felt less stressed out after midnight. That's when I'm more creative, and function better.
(when the normal critters are for the most part unconscious)

Night-owl here too... when I have the choice.
When I am in a schedule where I have to get up fairly early (for me, like 8-9AM), I start getting sleepy earlier.
But I much prefer to stay up late and tend to function far better at night than in the morning.

I'm really neither. I like to go to sleep at a decent hour and would sleep late in the morning if I could. When I post here it's often late at night, but only because that's the only time I can come here. Usually I'm in bed before 11 pm.
I've complained about it before, but it would be great if there were more karaoke shows for people who aren't night owls. I can go to a show that starts at 9 pm, but usually by 11 I'm wiped.

I know what you mean! My husband is an early bird so he doesn't like to stay past midnight. Seems like lots of shows don't even start until 10 or later.
I've been to a few places around the country (none here, alas) where they have karaoke in the afternoons...I guess in most places they figure it is a night-time thing because that's when most people drink. The Mint in San Francisco, the Cat's Meow in New Orleans (on the weekends only) , the In-Between in Honolulu, and a place in Guam I went to, all have karaoke in the afternoon. The rest of us will just have to suffer, I guess!!
