Hello all! So I got an e-mail on Friday from one of the online Karaoke stores I buy my discs from. I guess once a month they do a drawing on their customers for various prizes and well for the month of March - I won a prize. A pretty interesting Karaoke disc, I think I only have one song on the entire disc.
Of course all good freebies come with a string attached - I ended up buying 14 other discs while I was up there. :O :O
Now I'm kicking myself - with the passing of Chris Ledoux I wanted to get some of his music and sing them as a tribute my next regular club gig on Friday - but I complete spaced out on doing it. Bummer is you can't get Working Man Dollar or The Cowboy Hat. Don't know if it is just out of circulation or was never available. The Cowboy Hat is classic Chris Ledoux.

I have been concentrating on the chartbuster essentials because we are more of a country and western bar. But I know if I want to contintue to grow I needed to get the Sound Choice and this was just to good to pass. So next month my plans are to purchase the mackie cfx 12 that I had budgeted this month. damn e-bay. Need (EBA "E-bay Bidders Anomuse")
timberlea,

Tim Horton's - Best thing to come out of Canada since, um, well, gosh, did anything else good ever come out of Canada? Here in Michigan all we get from Canada is the crappy winter weather. !

HEY Timberlea!!
I LOVE "ROLL UP THE RIM TO WIN!!"
I won the bike last year!! WHOO HOO!! I was sittin in the Timmy's... rolled up the rim and I'm like "OH! I WON THE BIKE" everyone looked at me and clapped! It was the funniest thing.... I was bright red.... then I'm like... "I don't really want it.... I just bought a bike" so some lady goes "I'll take it" so I said... I'll sell ya my cup for a hundred bucks.. and poof.... she hands over five 20's
SOLD!
I win coffee ALLL THE FRICKEN TIME and I don't drink coffee....(I drink tea) so I'm constantly givin those away too! ! I only kept the free bagels n muffins :D

I know here if you win a coffee they will substitute tea for it. Ask them next time see what happens. BTW if you kept the bike it would have matched your hair now.

hahaha... it depends on the Timmies here.... somtimes they'll substitute for tea if you ask someone who's been there a while, but if you ask some pimple-faced-just-started-there-yesterday kid.... then he has to wait till he can ask someone and blah blah... I couldn't be bothered.
and YES it WOULD have matched ma hair, but my bike is blue, so it would bring out the red!! !!! I'm such a dork!!
Speaking of Timmies... I read the most hillarious article in the paper today. Apparantly there's a bunch of environmentalists that are all peaved at Tim Hortons for the huge amount of paper cups ppl are throwing away during the Roll Up The Rim contest.... and so this columnist was basically just telling the enviro's to shutup and find something else to (@$%!) about! It cracked me up!!
