Hey everyone,

Long-time KJ here from Philadelphia. I have been running shows for 25 years under Kircher Entertainment and I have used just about every piece of KJ software out there -- CompuHost, Karma, PCDJ, you name it.

After years of dealing with rotation headaches the old-fashioned way (paper slips, two-pile systems, the whole deal), I started building my own solution. It is called Auto-KJ.

The core idea is simple: rotation fairness should not be something you have to think about. The software should handle it. Round-based tracking, duplicate singer detection, configurable duet rules -- the stuff we all do manually every show.

It is open source (GPL-3.0), free desktop app, runs on Windows, Mac, and Linux. Built on top of OpenKJ with active development.

Happy to answer questions or take feature requests. I know what KJs need because I have been doing this for longer than I care to admit.

I have been using CompuHost for over 20 years. For me, it's perfect. I would never use anything else.

I've used it, I've used everything. If it works for you that's great. This isn't for you. This is for guys like me that would like the rotation rules built into the software, with song requests from the peoples phones so i don't have to print new books every year. To me compuhost was probably #3 not including mine. 8)

BTW I am O.P. I managed to recover my old account so I think the new one will have just 1 post for ever.
