There's a song I think you would do an excellent job on. Now- I don't know the name of it, I remember singing it at home when we were kids. (No- it's not bluegrass, haha) It goes : See that mountain I'm gonna have to climb There's a river waiting on the other side And the road leading nowhere I'll take it for I must Sleep somewhere's tomorrow or I'll bust Life is a circle spinning round Searching for what you haven't found I leave today, to look for my tomorrow And tomorrow I'll come searching for today There is alot more to the song- that is only one verse and chorus to see if you know it. I don't recall what the name of it was, or who sang it. So........ if it's even ON karaoke, and you know- will ya give it a try? TY |

Hey Blue: Gosh, I'm so sorry that I can't think of which song do those lyrics come from. Just for the lyrics, I would love to find out the name and if there's any backing for it. Maybe one of our friends here know the title and original singer. That would be fantastic. Anyone, please???? |

Loretta Lynn sang a version of this song- but I THINK the writer was a lady named Connie Moore. BUT- a guy band sang it and made it popular. I'm sorry- I don't recall who it was....it is more of a "folk" song. But- Roxy- you have the words all right, so it's obvious you know of the song. I'm thinking it was someone like Simon & Garfunkel or something. (not them, but someone kinda similar to that style) Good lord- I've been at karaoke all night- too much fun & STUFF....I can't even think right now. But- Tonmay, trust me- it's a song you would do very well. I'll try to see if I can locate the track, okay. Till later....... |
