With 40 years experience in electronics (1960 until now) and a degree in electronics minor computer I/O I thought I could contribute to this forum. However it seems every post I make is challenged and my opinion (which is only my opinion) is considered an effront to this forum. I could come out of retirement and charge $150/hr like I did before. However the advise I give on this forum is free and you have the right to disagree but does somebody have to challenge every comment I make? I live a real life and dont need to find myself in a fantasy world on the inet and do real karaoke.....So with that said I am gone doing shows and too busy to contribute to this forum.. Bye... |

I hate to see you go. I sure wish you would reconsider and stick around. Ya gotta remember that there are those that do, and there are those who talk about it. And you gotta remember that the voice of experience is least listened to....at first. So stick around my seasoned friend....if for no other reason than to someday say "I told you so"....Then stick around even longer and discover that you will eventually lose the urge to say "I told you so". Please continue to contribute what you've learned......Just filter out the feedback and keep singing. |

I live a real life and dont need to find myself in a fantasy world on the inet and do real karaoke.....So with that said I am gone doing shows and too busy to contribute to this forum.. Bye... All I was doing was offering my experience on what sounded better to me - an opinion of my own as well, as are most of the threads & replies in ANY discussion forum & yes on occasion get a little heated or even challenged - that's the beauty of discussions & debate type situations. If you are going to leave because of it, i'm sorry. <edit> although looking at all your posts & responses, I don't see where "every" post you make gets challenged? Seems the majority of your posts everyone is in pretty much agreence - including me.<end edit> |

karyoker, This is also The reason I hesitate to give advise here anymore. I was the first in my area with Computer Karaoke, and it seems like anytime I answer a post about it, I am accused of owning a software company, and trying to promote it. I hate to see you and your experience leave, It has been fun corresponding. |

ok I'm lost... I don't see where either Karaoker or Dr. D are really being challenged... The only time I've gotten snippy is when "I'M" attacked, or compared to a mcdonalds with my opinion. Hmmmm well, I'd hate to see either of you go, or not participate. Every bit of experience is welcome here. |

Well Ive found which bar I left my pickup at Found out I didnt kill anybody or hurt anybody. Cleaned out all the beer cans in my apt. and wondered at my age how I survived yet another binge. When on a binge one tends to magnify some things whether in real life or on a forum.. So my replys were not real so to speak and all I can do is say I'm truly sorry and I think all on here is big enuff to laugh and say lets get on with progress.. Life is too short for holding grudges petty things.... So if I get carried away again jusy say well the ol cowboys drunk again and sort of halfway ignore me for awhile :D |
