Post subject: Old laserdisc karaoke player

A friend is offering to give me a laserdisc player with a bunch of karaoke discs. Should I accept it? It would just be for home use, I'm not a KJ. Just not sure if it would be fun for parties or if it's more trouble than it's worth. I've never operated one, but I used to go to a show that used them. The videos were hilarious!
