I am shopping for a mixer with key control. Which of the following would be the best choice: BMB DEP-2000K BMB DEP-3000K VocoPro DA-X10Pro VocoPro DA-X8Pro VocoPro DA-2080K (Is this an old model replaced by DA-X8Pro? Someone said this one is better than the X8 and advise to get it if available.) Thank you in advance. :worship: JL |

None of the above, stay away from those names. Take a look at the AKJ7050. |

I agree with Lonman, I would buy a Behringer before buying ANY Vocopro product! The UB series would be an excellent choice, in fact, it would be my first, than a Mackie. |

My DVD player does not have karaoke function. There are players out there that have key change function but most of them are as people describe: "crappy". For decent key control function, I was told I need an outboard DSP to get decent results. Any other suggestions and thoughts? Thanks. JL |

I got it ... go with the pros like Audio 2000. I already have a pretty good amp and preamp system. Any recommendation on Audio2000 mixers with key control? |

I called a couple places and found AKM7015 for $133. Does anyone know how this unit sounds? Thanks. |

How about the Mackie DFX 12? How is that? I know I would need an amp to go with it, but just wondering what any of you think of it. |

Mackie is a great product, great customer support if needed. The DFX series is a great entry way to get into pro gear. Many still use them as their main mixer very successfully as well. |

I would go with the akj7000, 7050 or 7100. If you get the 7000, you MUST put a cooling fan on it. the 7015 I would avoid. My buddy bought one, and it's only 60watts, and the smaller casing makes me nervous. less heat dissipation. For home, or small bar usage, the bigger audio2000 amps are fine. for home, the 8015 MIGHT be adequate, but my buddy doesn't like it much... and I've not had the time to "tweak" it. the 7000... it ran great right outta the box! |

I own the AKJ7050 as well as a Macke CFX12 mixer. If I were in your shoes, I would go the Mackie DFX12 route. However, the AKJ 7000 and 7050 make great home mixer amps. If this is exclusively for home and home party use, go with the Audio 2000s 7000 or 7050. You will not be disappointed. Cheers! |
