Bonjour! I'm Jeanie C from AZ and I am a Karaokeholic. I admit it.
Ever since I first heard of karaoke (when they had 8-tracks--yes, I said
8-tracks)
I've been hooked. I've tried to quit cold turkey on
many occasions, but I have been unsuccessful. :no: So, I thought, "if
ya can't beat it, join 'em", so I've been karaokeing ever since. That was
20 years ago. In fact, the very first sentence my 19 year-old uttered
when she was one, was, "That's enough singing, Mommy." I was a KJ for
years til I went back to school to get a teaching credential (music K-8)
and in our town there is only karaoke on school nights.
So, I get my
fix when I can. I DJ weddings and sing with a big band, so I do get my
fix pretty often, thank goodness!
I have submitted a couple of songs and I'd like to thank you folks for
welcoming me into the fold with nice comments. It took two weeks to
figure out how to listen to songs without downloading them directly and
having to open itunes to hear them. Apparently, I didn't have the latest
version of quicktime--but now I'm all set. Peace, Love and Rock & Roll! JC
