I see you have otherwise posted regarding mp3+g files, asking this type of question is superfluous as your setup requirements, there is no simple answer. Find a local music shop that deals with Audio/PA/Live performance and go speak with them, there is no one size fits all answer, so you'll have to be guided by someone who can ask you questions then recommend the best options. |

It was not easy for me. I agree with Buster79, if you could find a person to help you at a music shop, that would be the best and easiest solution. If not, there is a lot of information on the internet on setting up a system. Unfortunately, you will have to sort through it all and see what works best for the equiptment that you have. |

KJ systems seem to expand to fill the storage area and the wallet. Back in the prehistoric past, I played with some cheap "Home" systems. My first real system was a Yamaha Stagepass 300. (Long ago) I still use it, and have a show the 23rd. Today, Yamaha makes larger systems and If I was not older than dirt, I'd upgrade. Some KJs prefer Bose, Some a mix of random parts. I picked the Yamaha because it's well designed as a unit. Two speakers, 4 channel mixer, plenty of ways to connect additional speakers if needed. Here's a picture of the SP400 Add some mics and a laptop, buy some music, should be good. Attachment:

There are way too many variables on what gear is chosen. If you could tell us what you have, or are wanting to purchase, then I am sure someone here can guide you through the process. But the above is the general idea on a basic set up. |
