why start a separate thread.... read the other computer karaoke threads... there are TONS of info there. Also, check out the Tech Advisors forum under "All Forums".

As for a "pro software", there's tons of comments on that. I personally am using winamp AS my pro software.

Saving them? you rip them to a folder or folders on your hard drives??

Okay, I'm getting confused.

To host your shows, use either:

Hoster, from www.mtu.com

or

Show Hoster, from www.sax-n-dotty.co.uk

A new program you might like to try for displaying pictures and text on the TV is:

MessageOke, from www.softwaresales.tv

Note: According to the website, MessageOke won't be available for a couple more days, but as soon as it is I'll be trying it out to see how it works with Show Hoster. I'll post the results as soon as I've tried it out.

Sup,

I'm just using winamp! And it works like a charm. Sax N Dotty's also is terrific! I ran my first test show last night on my new pc. Not a single flaw.

I prefer their versions 1 and 2 to the latest one, but what the hey, it's all good!

funny you said about the pc holding together Tig... One of the ide channels isn't working... no matter what cable I use. Nothing that I or Scotty can find... and it was working before you had it! LOL!

Anyway, the show went off without a hitch. I need a flat-screen monitor, and will try to pick one up very shortly. other than that, I LOVED it. Had my discs all zippered up in their books, and never had to touch them. I took out the 5 disc player cd player and the trip tray cdg... kept the rsq505, and used it to play mix music... and the two customer cdgs that were brought up.

Kurt "Swingcat" stopped by and rocked the house. And we had a BALL!

:D
