How Can I Listen to myself WHILE recording? I have checked the settings but this program is complicated...I used to use Cakewalk and it was 'input monitoring' on there...but on Cool Edit...the closest thing is 'Monitor recording levels" and it does not work...please help...it is soooo frustrating!

Start of by making sure that you have a full duplex soundd card, meaning it can record and playback at the same time.

Personally I can always hear myself singing. I have the mic and karaoke player/Hoster software or Karawin connected to the mixer. The mixer out goes to the PC. That way I can record and listen via the mixer at the same time. I do my mixing on the mixer, not on a track by track basis in the software.

check either ur playback mic settings or the line in make sure they are selected and turned up
