I have a friend who bought some North Star discs, he brought them in and it wouldn't play in the JVC players, neither my 800tn nor my single tray so I then put it into my Denon mp3 player with a convertor, it worked.
Anyone else with similar problems?

I have a couple of them and think they are okay. Not top shelf, but passable. Haven't had any problems with them in my players (RSQ single and triple, and Pioneer twin).

I don't have any Northstar discs in my library, but I've seen a few Pop ones at other shows. Personally, I didn't care for the quality.
