Hello I am wanting to set up a simple karaoke system for my daughters to use for fun, they don't wish to record anything, they just want to sing and I want to be able to play this through a laptop I have connected to the TV. This might not be possible but I want to connect a microphone directly into the soundcard and play CDG files. I have looked at a few programs and cant find one that does everything I want, some play CDG files but wont play the microphone output, some play the microphone but only use midi files. Please can anyone point me in the right direction, if one exists! Thanks Jonathan |

There is no way to sing into a laptop and have it sound good. My recommendation is to buy a cheap mixer. They can be had for less that $100 that would do the job for you. |
