Phil, another suggestion just because you probably don't have enough to do,  . It would be nice to be able to search the profiles by state, and city and state, zip code, etc. I travel a lot and it would be nice to see who is from an area I'm going to so that I might could PM or email them to ask about good places to go in the area.

I think you can do that in the memberlist (you can find it by clicking on it in the "member area" black box on the left and then sort by 'location') Hope that was helpful to you!

Not Quite, I can sort them there but you still have to scroll through 1000's to find the city/state you want to look at. I was hoping to enter a city and state and have the system display only profiles from that location. |

Good idea, the main problem with that at the mo is that there's no standardised way of entering where you are from, for example, in my case, I've put "UK", others have put "England" or "Great Britiain"... I love the idea, but I think the standardising would be the bit that takes the most time... and then it would only work if everyone went back and refilled their details!!! |

Yes, really good ideas ... maybe drop down menus would help to "standardize". Then Everyone from UK .. would have to choose UK.. etc. And of course, current members would have to update... but I think most would, don't you? |

Nothing to be sorry for... some people feel very strongly about stuff like that. I was thinking more "general" .... Like NY, VT, UK... you know. Not necessarily zip .... unless ya wanted to. I've written upstate NE NY ... find me if ya can (from that info) ....

Cheating, who me? I prefer to call it using a technical advantage. I tried explaining that to some instructors in school. One thought it was an excellent reasoning and gave me an 'A' CHEATING - Random House Webster’s College Dictionary: to practice fraud or deceit; to deceive, trick, or victimize to gain unfair advantage; to elude or escape (as in "to cheat death"); to take an examination in a dishonest way by having improper access to answers Universities and other schools often define "improper access to answers" as: anything outside your own head (e.g., books, notes, other people’s brains, portable computers, etc.). I look at it as using the advantages that one has determined are useful in the pursuit of a desired goal, as long as one does not directly/indirectlycause damage to others or prevent others from achieving their desired goals.
