I know apostrophes are going out of fashion. But has anyone else noticed how KBS ver. 5.0 drops them from imported text?
Is there a fix?

I used to use KBS a lot. I had an older version of it but when I bought CDG Creator Pro; I never went back. Both programs do a good job making karaoke tracks and each one has it's own advantages but I prefer to use CDG Creator. With your newer version of KBS, can you replace the missing apostrophes manually? I wish that there was a way to remove commas automatically and then manually replace the ones that you really want to have there. Making karaoke tracks can be a lot of fun and the more of them you make; the more fun it gets to be and easier and faster to make.

And you can replace apostrophes in KBS.

Never had a problem with apostrophes importing, but I don't import actually.
I have the text in a bare bone text editor where I set it up the way I want (per page/lines), then copy and paste it to the kbs window and adjust the overflow lines as needed.
Everything copies over properly. (side note--I always use straight quotes)

CDG Creator Pro deals with up tempo song better than KBS in my opinion. The swipes are much faster than in KBS. I like being able to add pictures in KBS though.
