You know the song. That sexy song that describes love so powerful, so strong, it hurts the soul. For me: Wicked Game - Chris Isaak Lets Get It On - Marvin Gaye Big Log - Robert Plant Fall At Your Feet - Jessie Cook (not the Crowded House version) For Crying Out Loud - Meatloaf I Drove All Night - Cyndi Lauper =========== The problem with almost all of these songs is they are VERY hard to sing. But when graced by the right singer - dayum! |

That one just always gets to me That one gets me too... almost as much as: 'Sit on my face and tell me you love me' - Monty Python |

The Vagina Song - Monty Python was also a real heart pounder. Man I just want to hug my wife every time I hear that one! |

When sung by the right guy .... that'll melt me. I got a twisted tune of that that may change your mind Start by substituting Know for Blow then the rest kind of all falls into place - some of the lyrics need to be changed to fit the new theme, but not much. |

Hmm... love so powerful and strong it melts the soul. Well, never felt that yet, but if a song could come close to describing it for me and how I think it should be, well, it would have to be 'Shiver' by Coldplay or 'You Are' by Lionel Richie. Something about the lyrics to those songs just does it for me... |

If I am- well, ya see- it's Jazzy's fault. For some unknown reason, the song to "make me melt" - I guess that's how you'd say it- has ALWAYS been: Pour Some Sugar On Me How's that for wierdness?!?! But..... there's just something about that dang song. EDIT: Guess I don't quite have that "quote" thing down yet.....hmmmmm |

I sang it to some friends that got married... and they said I did a fairly good job with it. His raspy voice and mine may work! ! |

BlueStainedShoes wrote: Guess I don't quite have that "quote" thing down yet.....hmmmmm you have to "end quote it"
with any bboard code or html, you need to have a beginning code and and ending. Beginning code for html is <xxxx> and for bboard code it's in the square parenthesis (they have a name, but darned if I can remember what it is other than "brackets") [xxxxx]. the END code is with a /slash. ex. [ / color ] color italics bold etc... the difference is the code, when combined, MUST be in the exact opposite of the way you started it. ex. bold, italics, color and then at the end of what you're doing, color, italics bold. NOW, what I do here on this site is merely highlight the words I want to apply the coding to, and click on the button above the posting bit. If I want to quote someone in the post, have them on a separate window and click on the quote option of their post. THAT gives you the post with the code in it. THEN it's a simple matter of copying that over, and deleting what you don't want quoted. Careful on too much code though. 1. It gets in the way and is easily confused. 2. gets VERY annoying after a while with huge posts filled with partial quotes. One or two aren't so bad, but beyond that, most people just get irked at it and skip the whole post! Like this one! ! |

Okay- IF this worked- I see what I did. When I deleted what I didn't want to quote- I deleted the "endquote" thingee. (that word "thingee"??- that's MY computer term.) MUCH easier to understand. Thank you Matt. You made that understandable. (and hopefully I did it right this time, or I'm gonna look like a total fool, haha) |
