OK - Gilly wants critique on her new sub "Your So Vain"
So, let's give it to her
Do you think she said
"Clouds in my coffee"
OR
"Clowns in my coffee"
Vote now! Poll ends tomorrow!
=)

. Yet do Carly Simons lyrics make more sense ? What is, "I had a dream there were clouds in my coffee" a metaphor for anyway ? I never understood that. (sounds like her cream was curdled or something)

"Clouds in my coffee" are the confusing aspects of life and love. That which you can't see through, and yet seems alluring...until. Like a mirage that turns into a dry patch. Perhaps there is something in the bottom of the coffee cup that you could read if you could (like tea leaves or coffee grinds). Carly Simon 5/17/01
And, i KNOW YOU WERE JOKING:) I was trying to make feel guilty:)
Lol, it is like me thinking that is was "i wanna rock all night and PART OF everyday"...
Lol.

First Gilly that was a kick a** track and it doesn't matter. Takes the little pointed hat out of his coffee cup.

Heh, never thought of it that way, but now that you mention it, it does sound like that. Heck, for years I thought the song "Amarillo By Morning" by George Strait was "Have a Riddle By Morning." So I was slightly deaf as a child. Not really, but that's my excuse and I'm sticking with it.

Huh? those arent the words to all those songs??
OOO- ooh cant laugh like that I'll go into labor OOOO.
What I really hate about singing the wrong words for so long is when you learn the RIGHT ones you KEEP SINGING the wrong ones cause it sounds right!

Due to the consensus regarding the generally disturbing content that was posted in here, and subject matter not suitable for viewing by the general audience. Coffee cups have been removed.

Um, Steven? Those cups are disturbing. If I drank coffee (which I do not) and those were my only cups, I'd have to quit.

Shudder. Yep the first cup could be used in a Stephen King movie. Gilly I have been singing some wrong lyrics for years and won't change even when we perform 'cos I like mine better.
