I've tendered my resignation at my "day job", and I'll be moving across the country. I have no idea if high speed connections are available where my father lives in Central Missouri, but I'll try to get back in touch with you guys soon.
I haven't packed up yet, so I'll be around to torture you guys for a week or so.
It's been fun... thanks for the laughs, crying, and everything in between!

It's a shame you're moving to Misery, er, Missiouri. We could use some good KJ talent in Alaska!
Good luck with your move Matt. Hope everything works out for you!

Yeehaw! Now finally I hope we get the oppertunity to have that beer together. Matt, contact me via PM or send me an email when you get here! I'm also in Missouri (as you know) so don't be a stranger. We'll make you human again
ps. We do have high speed internet here as well, and friendly people, and low gas prices, and the Ozarks.............and of course you might just run into AllStar and Wannabe :rotflmao:

K everyone, Matt's just moving he said he will be back. Have a safe trip and hopefully you can start to get something going with the karaoke.
Missy, cross country in Scotland is a Sunday drive. Cross country in the US is about an 8-9 day drive coast to coast driving 10-12 hrs a day. Cross country in Canada, you can add another couple of days or so not including Newfoundland.

Cross country in the US about 8-9 DAYS??? I drove from Seattle to Boston in 5 days (grant you that WAS in Summer time). That was driving from 8 AM - 10 PM at 70MPH average (sometimes faster/sometimes slower). Having a 2nd driver helps too, could've been there in less time driving straight through & not stopping at night - one sleeps while one drives. Matt should be in Missouri from Portland in 3 days, 4 tops no problem - weather & road conditions permitting.
