I was just looking around on their new web site and I found lots of Bruce Springsteen, Eagles etc.

Take a look yourself...

That was their answer to slap the faces of all that denied them the mechanical rights to reproduce the lyrics. Came out a couple years ago. It has NO lyrics, graphics or anything but music.

Yep. Every song on the disc was ones they were negotiating rights to, or had rights to & they got revoked. No graphics or lyrics - just the music. But if you know the song, then it's a great disc to have, maybe not for business though.

I actually didn't think that disc was still available though. You did send a link from the "Sneak Peak" site, it's not listed in their regular site.

Lonman,

I also saw several Springsteen songs on the sneak peak site. Many of these are not available at doowop.

I really like the new site with samples of most of the songs.

Cool Tracks is coming out with a new Eagles cdg on Monday, Jan. 17. (CT04) Since all I have now is BS and a VCD, it might be worth looking into. Also Zoom for that matter.

The Zoom discs are actually pretty good. Much better than anything out there currently available. They also have an Eagles disc with a bunch of songs that no one else has.

Be careful about the Cool Tracks Brand

I have their Evanescence disc, and it's pretty good. But some glaring lyrical errors.

You get what you pay for!

I have it too & most of the people that sing it are just elated enough to be able to sing them that they don't care about the lyrics.

I got my 8125 in the mail yesterday (woohoo!) and played it through. I found out a couple things:

1. I can't sing Eagles songs (but my customers will love it!)

2. There are a few lyrical errors on the disk.

3. The sound quality is EXCELLENT.

Does anyone know if the OF VCD's had any Eagles songs and how good they were?

BTW, on a custom CDG site I noticed they were offering a pretty decent selection of Eagles from SunFly - pretty much everything on the 8125 disk but didn't try ordering it because I knew I had the 8125 coming in the mail - thanks Sue! (my fiance)).

That's the smae one I have and after using it a few times, I've got people drooling over it because of the sound quality. I can only hope that the Eagles disc will be of the same quality.
