I am planning on getting Video Hoster for my karaoke system on August 3rd. One question, can I add the songs in the song store to my songlist for SongbookDB? Not a deal breaker but it would be nice to have my singers capable of being able to request those songs as well as the ones that are already in my library. I miss that feature from CompuHost that allowed you to add the KJMedia Pro songs along with the songs that I already had.

Yes, you export via Hoster and add to SongbookDB via it's control panel.

That I understand, what I was asking was if I could include the songs that are available in the karaoke.net store in the list?

Not really, you could maybe get a list from them in an xls spreadsheet, copy it over and manually go into the Access database and add it, but nothing that will be automatically done. I don't think any program really has that capability.

I was able to do it in CompuHost with KJMedia Pro and their phone app, songlist printer and kiosk. Maybe I will suggest the ability to create a .csv file that I can add to the SongbookDB database.

Michael Y would be the one to ask. A csv file in the correct format would most definitely work.

As I said, it's not going to keep me from buying the software. I am mainly interested in it for the store itself and the ability to take requests from the phone app and kiosk which is going straight to the player. My movement through the audience will be for the benefit of those who don't have smartphones because I want them to be able to make a request from their seats like the ones that have smartphones. Sort of give everyone an equal footing so to speak. I already do this with SongbookDB and Siglos but to eliminate one step of the process would greatly help me out.
