k...i put mi backing track in track 1 recording mi vocals (if thats what ya call em ) in track 2 after i recorded and play it back....ermmmmm, im never on time with the backing track...well...i mean...im on time when i sing it...but when i play it back it like moves.....hard to explain....anyone know how to fix this problem....it does'nt happen on all my backing tracks....just a couple for some reason...and it always seems to be the ones i really really want to do somebody please help this little bug thanks |

That's latency rearing it's ugly head. You can move the tracks by deleting a little at the beginning or adding a little time to get them to line up. It should be off by the same amount through the whole song. |

Actually I think the issue is that his sound card is not sample accurate thus the read and write clocks are not phase locked and may drift. BT, crossposting is usually not a good idea. Morten |
