I'm looking for free software to play .cdg and mp3 files I have on my PC desktop. I want to transfer these files to my Mac laptop so that I can just take my laptop to my friends New Years Eve party and rock out to some karaoke without having to drag over my desktop PC.

In a word... help!

I don't know much about it but it showed up in a search and claims to rip/play/burn CD+G discs/files.

I'm sure there are others out there as well...

Sorry I missed New Years for you but there is a program that will do that on Mac that is in development. I can PM you the info if you're still looking for it.
