I've seen the CAVS systems, but i was wondering if there are any other companies that make Karaoke systems on Hard drive that you can purchase pre-loaded? Thanks for the help!

There are a couple companies that offer hard drives preloaded with songs as well as the CAVS players pre-loaded.
The problem isn't a technological one, ripping the discs and loading them onto a hard drive isn't difficult, just time consuming. The problem is a legal one from the aspect of licensing and copyright infringement. Many (but not all) of the people that offer preloaded players and CAVS machines are doing so in violation of copyright agreements. In other words, it's legal to load the hard drive and/or machine if you own the discs but they don't verify the list with you first and in some cases don't even ask.
If you get a hard drive/machine preloaded it should come with the songs in a prerecorded format - ie CDG, VCD, SCDG, DVD, etc with the hard drive or player. I approached a vendor online in regards to purchasing a preloaded CAVS machine and when I asked about the copyright issues by email I never got a return. If it was once I could understand an oversight, but this was numerous times over 3-4 months without a response.
Your best bet is to purcahse the discs yourself and then make arrangements to have a hard drive loaded for you or to do it yourself. Then you know you're 100%legal and can feel good about the collection you have.

BTW, please limit your posting of questions to one forum. This question appears in both General Discussion and the Technical Forum.
One of the moderators might want to axe, lock, or move one of the posts....

the sad part is these idiots that sell these hard drives preloaded are selling them under a condition... the only thing that they can sell them as.
A backup library, to be used for your library's needs. You delete those tracts on there that aren't yours!
I think it's a crock of (the south bound end of a north bound cow!). I have confronted a couple of these idiots, and they smile and shrug and say that they don't control HOW the person who buys it uses it.
That's like a crack dealer saying the same thing! SHEESH!
