I have the Viva Fiesta Set
I have the Tropical zone 1125 song disk.
I do know a few spanish songs from doing pro sound in a Mexican club in Florida.
I'm looking to pick ONE brand to start buying from that would cover the latino market basics.
Karaoke Box, Multi Karaoke (OKE), Karaokanta, or more Tropical Zone?
OR perhaps there is a spanish karaoke version type site where I can buy based on requests?
Thanks..

why limit it to one? if you don't know what songs they want to sing, ask. that's what i did and bought discs that had those songs on them. most were Tropical Zone, KBox or MultiKaraoke.
KSF bought Tropical Zone so that is going to be up on Karaoke.net, but it's not happened yet.
hint hint Michael

ScreamersUSA,

How is your Spanish Vocabulary? Are You Bi-Lingual?
I Have about as many Mexican Tunes Collected in the last 25 years as almost anybody, probably, at least on this forum... Living on the border, here in Arizona, and clientele of the Hispanic decent reaching about 80% these days, it's a necessity to have a broad collection... I have about as many manufacturer's in Spanish, as I do in English ( Muchas ) and many were legit, and many were not, just as our English Manus have turned out to be illegal after the licensing scrutiny of the last 10 years... That said, currently I've been getting "New" music from a source close to Mexico City, Check Facebook listing for "Karaoke Rafiki", also Karaokanta is starting to once again put out CDG's, after only marginal success selling a licensed hardrive, and software product for the last couple of years... these are my two go-to brands these days, and also awaiting Tropical Zone product to be released by KSF, hopefully as a-la-carte downloads, so as not to have duplication issues similar to the good 'ol days of Multiple Manu's in the American Karaoke HayDay... Your Mileage May Vary

Thanks Guys. I'm semi bilingual. I do have two friends looking at the catalogs of the brands mentioned as they are karaoke singers. I have not had a lot of call for spanish songs but it would be nice to have here in Co.

Tropical zone on Karaoke.net sounds like the best way to go.. I've probably got about 1500 songs of which I recognize 25% of the artists so that is probably a good base for a buy as I go setup on latin. Still working on the primary library as I am still searching for rock and metal while sorting out what I personally NEED that is only on SC. Hoping some of those songs show up on KV and KN or SF.
Thanks for the direction.

to be honest, for 90% of your mexican clientelle they only want 6 songs...ever. you get these and you are golden.

Tragos Amargos
Volver Volver
De Que Manera Te olvido
Un Puno De Tierra
Un Rinconcito En El Cielo
Se Ve Olvido Otra Ves

from there it's either Ramon Ayala, or Vicente Fernandez (except the younger crowd likes Mana, but only that one song.)

Michael, those are the names singers ask for and are unfortunately missing from the list. i need those 6 songs for my other rigs and would really love the Tropical Zone versions again.

Corazon Espinado by Mana - featuring Santana's monster guitar riff.
SC did a great version!
