If you didn't receive an email - You're not a member of the Usergroup Singers!

Become a member now by logging into Singer's Showcase using the same username & password that you use in the forums.

Use the "Register" link to the left in the Member Area!

I would like to ask that everyone please check their profile's in both the Singer's Showcase and the Karaoke Forums. I would like to have everyone enter at least the following information.

Singer's Showcase:
REAL NAME - Last Name & First Name.
This wil make it easier on me when updating you payments, plus when finding your membership and selecting a submission for use in the That's Karaoke Radio Show!

Karaoke Forums:
Location
Please enter Your City, State/Province (whatever), & Country (if other
than the United States)

I got a different one, but that's prolly cause I'm not a 'paid' member (yet).

I don't mind giving the above info, but I didnt' see anywhere to put it (again prolly cause I'm not paid).

It has nothing to do with "Paid Status"

It may be that MSN (who owns hotmail) is blocking the email. But then if you got one - you should get the other? hmmm???

In the forums click on "profile" (to the left under Member Area) you can enter your location there.

When you login to SS click on "modify" (should be to the right-hand side under your name) There you should see where you can enter the details.

Ok, it's done from my end!

Yeah, I think hotmail didn't let it come through for some strange reason (never know about MS do ya?). Hope this helps other folks too.

The bigger ISPs and internet mail services often block emails that are not sent directly to a member of their service.

These emails were sent to you {so no one else would see your email address} as a BCC (Blind Carbon Copies - funny how that term is still used? When was the last time anyone used carbon copies? but I digress...)

Companies like AOL, Yahoo, MSN etc. do this to "protect" their customers! Sometimes it is a good thing.

Check your Spam/blocked/bulk mail folders it may be in there. Also, you may want to be certain that emails from the following urls are allowed to send you emails, these are ones that are used by this site.

pinball.crosswebtech.com - the actual server name.
karaokescene.com, karaoke-forum.com, singersshowcase.com, thatskaraoke.com, & karaokefest.com

BTW - Your real name is not displayed to the public! Only the administration and myself will see this. It is just for our records.
Unless of course your submission is selected to be played on the That's Karaoke StreamCast Radio Show! Then it will be posted on that site.

my only problem with filling that stuff out is what if you don't WANT everyone to see your full name?

I've already had one online stalker find out a lot of personal information... not really looking forward to having that repeated on ANY level.

Can you make it where the profile info isn't completely seen by other singers UNLESS you say it's okay?

I agree - and I did that and no one is seeing my full name at least in the SS that I've checked on... BUT.... I had put my location in my Forum profile & that DOES show & I don't want that -- I'd be wayyy too easy to locate in my teeny tiny little town so I removed that. Sorry PHiLL with the little i.

checked every email address i every had hotmail..yahoo..cox internet...no email..had tammy email me from forum and from showcase..no email..went to the one i had gotten to activate the account..clicked the link..got a message sayin it was already activated...so...

no email...

BTW - I finally did get mine... it came the next day.
