I've been given the opportunity to test Grahams Karaoke System (New Karaoke player and Kiosk Digital Songbook software)
If anyone is looking for a very basic and simple "Kiosk" style digital songbook or Pro level player with "unique features", I would recommend his product offerings.
* Support is very good with many training and troubleshooting videos. * Customization is just an email or phone call away. * I was able to request Company Branding along with my customized software requests. * Very affordable software with many "unique features not offered by others.
demos also offered on his website.
Cheers!

Now this is something I can agree on. Graham’s Karaoke. ‘love it!! ‘been using it for years. I have a laptop set-up on top of my 6 book cabinet. Easy song search, less than a minute to load or update tracks from your drive. Interactive typing. Type two or three letters of the song or artist & it will start searching showing the result as you go along for those letters typed without pressing ‘enter’. Type 3 or 4 letters i.e., BUBL it will show all Michael Buble’s song. Internet connect not needed. btw, I also subscribe to songbookslive.com but that needs internet connection. Problem was they also login to check their inboxes or ‘facebooking’. I just put up a sign above that sez my songbook is also available from their phones 24/7. I bought the graham’s karaoke kiosk one time payment of $19.95, no expiration date. Not interested in their karaoke kiosk & dj complete package $99.95. Great customer support! http://grahamskaraokesystem.com/products.htmlAttachment:

PS: Internet connection for their kiosk is not needed. Not sure if it’s needed for the complete package - live application. I would imagine it would be to interact with singer's song request submissions.

In the video you will see a Modified version of Grahams Home Player. What we did is removed the Buttons (Load Files, Play, Stop, Exit) for full screen kiosk then I simply paste my latest database manually through wifi.

Sorry, not really into their karaoke player. But I sure love their kiosk program to instantly access my song library.

This was the home player. It's just customized. all functions are removed leaving just a big search bar at the bottom and that's it. No-one can exit the program, singers can only search database to find whats available.
I also have grahams kiosk program that is also very nice. but I seem to find more people using the other one more.

I also have grahams kiosk program that is also very nice. but I seem to find more people using the other one more. Wow. With all due respect, knf - another ‘good enough’ logic? I have their ‘kiosk’ screen shot above. It’s professional presentation. I just can’t see how you can use the home player for your patrons to access your song database. What I can’t understand is why would they even prefer using the ‘home’ player instead of the kiosk program. Graham designed it for home use & not be used in a professional setting. Here are some reasons why (check screen shot of home player below) difference between his home player & the kiosk. 1. Home player query will return a list of all duplicates. Kiosk eliminates duplicates & list single items. 2. The player lists all cd manus brands. (That means I have to put up with that endless question: ‘hey, what’s the difference between SB, DK & CB?’ 3. The player bottom task bar – options to click are “Load Files, Pitch/Tempo, Stop/Play, Reset”. I know you said all functions were removed except search. Although they’re non-functional it’s visible & they will click on it. Another endless question of: ‘Hey, I can’t get to play my selected song. How do you work this thing?” Huh? It sez it’s a player! (Note: No duplicates in my books but I have them in my hdrive for others who prefer other versions). Attachment:

Yes Graham designed that home player for the home user. But I want you to understand what i'm saying here. 1) The people love the layout of the home player. 2) I contacted Graham and asked him about purchasing a customized version of the home player without Playback or any other functions. 3) Singers can not exit the player nor can not play files. they can only search songs. see pic: Attachment:

I stand corrected. Only one comment. Repeats! Graham should’ve tweaked the query properties a bit more. Eliminate duplicates to show a list with unique entries like his kiosk program. Other than that, yes it looks good (I still prefer the kiosk ).

I have the ability to do that by simply importing songs into kiosk program (the one you use) and then simply copy the database into this custom one i use. I just haven't done it yet with the kiosk i use at the beer garden.
You can also do it in the Pro player by simply importing all songs then delete dups, then copy database to kiosks.
I can't believe how extremely fast the search queries work... Seconds.. I type in the search "JO DO ST" and Journey - don't stop believing just appears.

It doesn't matter what country we are in. Software doesn't cost much to produce. I feel bad that you guys get ripped off and keep coming back for more.

#Karmasucks. #getoverit Frankly I am more than happy with my Karma purchase, and I have had ZERO problems in more than four years of use. There were some issues prior to January 2012 with high CPU useage, then the problem with the data base change in early 2015. What I have learned from life is..... don't fix what ain't broke, and latest is not always the greatest. Good luck in your quest for nirvana.
