Question when you take out your cable to your tv set does the hum go away? I ask because we recently got a hum in our York 700s. Take the rca cord out from either end the hum goes away. Strange, still trying to figure it out. We run them with the NX520s.

the reason you're getting a hum from a RCA cord is it's picking up frequencies... it's not shielded like a COAX is.

I get the low hum in one of the nx200 subs not both.I have a surge strip that I plug the mixer, the cdg player , tne right speaker and right sub into. I connect the ac plug of that strip to another strip that has the left speaker and left sub in it. from there I plug directly into the wall

Surge strips do NOT FILTER--they only will serve to provide SURGE PROTECTION. So surge strip wont help with a hum problem. Most likely the cause is again UNSHIELDED cables or one with a poor connetion or a cold solder joint or dirty connections. Remove each component and or cable one by one until the noise dissappears and that will show you the source.
