What brand? I have 2 cdgs made by manus unknown to me. Super Songs SG - 9501 vol.501, 9 songs mpx. 2nd disc is a Kelly Clarkson 15 song special edition greatest hits by New Star Karaoke. Did Either manu produce other karaoke discs? Was The Super Songs disc part of a set? Any and all Feedback greatly appreciated!

This disc does not even come up on a Google search, and the Eagles are pretty strictly not licenced for karaoke, so all signs would point to this being an unlicensed disc.

Nothing I ever heard of. They took the expense to professionally press the disc though and the ONLY few pages I can find on it is the brand IS "Super Songs". Looks like another All Hits type deal - creating music without proper licensing and selling it. There is no info on the disc to indicate contact, website, email, anything. I'm sure it came with no jewel case with printed info either. Good indication it's wasn't legally made.

They look a lot like the promotional discs that chartbuster made a long while back. I saw a few of them when i was converting a kj aquaintence's collection. Exact same lettering and everything, the only difference is those discs still had the chartbuster logo on them.

Every KJ uses some discs that are questionable in their legality. Why sweat the small stuff? If the music sounds good and the swipes are in time; use whatever discs you bought and have fun.

If they are pressed, silk screened and have a matching ring code, I don't care if they were legally made or not, it is good enough for me.
