I am not gonna be able to do Genre of the week for a while. I will start it back up again Jan.1st...... If anyone would like to take it over until then or longer...I have no ojections...the whole idea was not started by me. I have just been keeping it going because I thought it was fun. I have a suggestion for Genre of the Month for December being "Seasonal" , but if anyone else has any other ideas....please take it and run with it! 
I will be seein' everyone around.....

As long as you've done the one for this week 29 Nov - Dec 4th I can pick it up afterwards. If you have a list of genre's that you can pm me it would keep me from hunting them up off the list. It's my pleasure! I don't sub or listen as often as I'd like but I don't mind helping out when I can! |

To all those interested.... I'll put up a poll shortly for next week, but if I don't get the chance I'll be sure to post a poll for next week - and the genre of the week will start again the week after. I probably won't use Elvis as a genre since a recommendation was made to use that for the week of Jan 8th - Elvis' birthday. The week of Christmas - Dec 19 - Dec 25 will be holiday tunes week. This will include all Christmas, Hannukah, Kwanza, Yule and other holiday songs for the holidays celebrated during this time of year (near or around the Winter Solstice). If you have any recommendations or comments please let me know. |

Great, glad to see another help out. I suggest that since this week we do not have a POLL for next weeks' GENRE/THEME that we just continue this weeks until the next POLL is created. I know that many of you haven't had the opportunity to get your CLASSICAL submissions up yet and this will give you that extra bit of time to practice! Look forward to hearing you all... PHILL |

with all the crap weather around i would like to see....summer songs as a genere.....ok which guy is up for singing itsy bitsy teenie weeny yellow polka dot bikini....i think it would be fun to have that kind of genre ...sooo party/summer songs is my idea...if its crap shout shurrup missy i will only stick ma tongue out at ya!! |
